Location
Explore the shores of Lake Michigan and the Big Red Lighthouse in Historic Macatawa. A small store for essentials, ice cream, and coffee is only three minutes away or drive just twenty minutes to Saugatuck and Holland to find family activities, great restaurants and wineries, and more.
Located in the Macatawa Park Cottagers' Association, a gated community with a shared parking lot, Lighthouse Landing is safe and family friendly.
Beach
Lighthouse Landing has all the kid's beach toys you need, beach chairs, towels, and a kayak for your use. Kayak, bike, and paddle board rental only three minutes away right by the boat house. Coast 3 in Holland also has watersport and outdoor equipment rentals (they deliver too!). Check their website for inventory and be sure to inquire about the cottager's rental program!

In the summer and fall, find local produce, meats, flowers, and more at local Farmers Markets.
Holland and the surrounding areas have great restaurants and microbreweries. Some of our favorites are Butch's, New Holland Brewing, or the Holland Princess Dinner Cruise. Local wineries abound: Fenn Valley Winery, Round Barn, and Lemon Creek are popular.
For dining in, the Central Park Market is locally owned and only a five minute drive away. Find a real butcher, wine, beer and liquor, along with groceries.
Pick fresh fruit at local favorites: Bowerman's Blueberries in Holland, DeLange's Raspberries in Hudsonville, or Crane's Orchard U-Pick in Fennvile for apples!
Our family loves visiting The Critter Barn, a fully running barn where kids can milk a cow, pick your own eggs straight from the chickens, and learn about real farm life.
